We select specific markers and obtain biological recognition molecules (mainly antibodies and nucleic acids, including aptamers) for the detection of markers of interest to our customers and collaborators. To do so, we carry out different candidate selection and discarding strategies until we are left with those that present the best properties (selectivity, specificity). Once the candidates have been selected, we can move on to more advanced stages (conjugation, immobilisation, etc.) of biodetection test development.
