Industrial symbiosis for the circularity and economy of essential raw materials. SINCER

The aim of the project is to promote effective industrial symbiosis through research into sustainable technologies for the recovery and valorisation of essential metals (Mn, Si, Mg, Ni, Cr) and key (Zn, Fe) that are present in industrial waste from multiple sources. Using hydro- and pyrometallurgical processes, as well as advanced conditioning and separation technologies, it seeks to close material cycles and facilitate their reincorporation into both original processes and new strategic applications (batteries, magnets, alloys).
