Evaluation of disintegrability, biodegradability and reusability

Tests to evaluate the disintegrability of packaging under composting conditions as per ISO 20200, as part of the UNE EN ISO 13432 standard for compostable packaging under industrial composting conditions.
Screening of the aerobic biodegradability of bioplastics and composites under aerobic conditions as per ISO 14855 (mesophilic conditions and industrial composting conditions (58ºC)).
Screening of the biodegradability of bioplastic materials in seawater.
Evaluation of the disintegrability and degradation rate of plastic materials exposed to marine environment under laboratory conditions (ISO 23832).
Validation for reuse of biodegradable or compostable materials in catering utensils (UNE EN 12875-1 and 2).

This test determines the validity of this type of material in utensils in contact with foodstuffs.
