Development and adaptation of substrates (glass, polymers, steel and ceramic) for new photovoltaic absorbers. Development of an adequate solvolysis process for recycling and reusing thermoset composites in the transport industry. Smart and adaptive side-protection technologies. ADAPTA
Despite the high mortality rate for side-on accidents, there is currently no significant research into technologies concerning pre-crash detection and protection. The ADAPTA project involves research into comprehensive and adaptable lateral protection systems with the aim of reducing the number of victims and seriousness of side-on crashes.
