Characterization and testing of materials
- Mechanical tests:
Tensile, flexural, compression, bearing, pull-out, inter laminar shear
strength (ILSS), flat shear strength, (SBS), density, sheet thickness,
fatigue, etc.
Test conditions: RTD, ETW and others.
- Tests on pre-pegs:
Tg, gel time, % fibre, % resin, volatiles, weight per m2.
- Fire tests:
Flammability, smoke density (NBS chamber), smoke toxicity.
- Other tests:
DMTA, TMA, DSC, accelerated ageing. Thermal cycles.
