NEW TECHNOLOGICALLY BASED COMPANIES

We have promoted New Technology Based Companies (TBCs) since 1995. These companies are made up of staff from the Centre who decide to set up a business enterprise, with the support of GAIKER technology, or initiatives promoted by a group of entrepreneurs, given the confluence of technological know-how and market and innovation opportunities.
Due to the complexity in promoting NTBCs, a support network and the integrated collaboration of different agents shall be required: private companies, Public Administration, Technology Centres and Parks, Venture Capital companies and Finance companies. For these reasons, at GAIKER, as a leading Technology Centre, we are working towards strengthening links throughout the TBC creation sphere, establishing collaboration agreements and increasing our presence in discussion groups and information and opinion exchange forums.

At GAIKER we dedicate effort to managing resources in order to promote the creation of technology-based companies through technological monitoring and in-depth study of acquired know-how.

Over recent years we have participated in the creation of more than ten business initiatives, which we have supported right from the start, providing them with the technological expertise and know-how we have built up since the Centre was founded in 1985.
