GAIKER Foundation is a Technology Centre, a non-profit entity, which is dedicated to research and to providing innovation and technology services to companies. Since our creation in 1985, we have contributed to the technological development and competitiveness of the business fabric through the generation, uptake, adaptation and subsequent transfer to our clients and founder members of technologies related to our Areas of Knowledge (Plastics and Composites, Sustainability and Environment Technology, Recycling and Recovery, and Biotechnology).

In addition to our main activity, namely R&D Under Contract (private and confidential), we provide Technological Services related to Technical Assistance and Advice, Technological Services (Diagnoses and Checkings) and Analysis and Tests, also offering a Technological Alert, Training and Dissemination Service.

We have nearly 130 technicians and professionals, all of whom count on ultramodern equipment. We place all this potential at the service of clients from a large range of sectors: Pharmaceutical Industry, Chemical Industry, Human and Animal Health, Engineering and Consultancy Firms, Public Administrations, Automotive Industries, Construction, Packing and Packaging, Home Appliances, amongst others. We offer innovative, quality solutions for your technology needs. We count on certificates such as ISO 9001 and ISO 14001, amongst others, helping us to carry out our work in a procedural, sustainable manner. Moreover, we work in line with the European Foundation for Quality Management (EFQM) model, for which we have been awarded 4 prizes, the last of which was Prize Winner as the best European Company in Business Process Management in the European Excellence Awards 2008.

We count on know-how and expertise in technology and innovation, accumulated over 24 years of experience, and a constantly expanding relations network, the result of Alliances and Agreements we have entered into ever since our beginnings, and also thanks to our work in cooperation with Organisations and scientific and technological agents around the world. Particularly notable in this regard is our position within IK4 Research Alliance, along with another six Technological Centres: Ceit, Cidetec, Ideko, Ikerlan, Tekniker and Vicomtech.
