QUALITY AT GAIKER

GAIKER's commitment to quality and continuous improvement is permanent and foremost in all its activities.

We pay special attention to THE QUALITY OF OUR MANAGEMENT because we understand that this policy not only redounds on an optimisation of our own resources, but also benefits our customers with better service, better products and better quality.

In 2008 our efforts in applying the EFQM management model (which we have been following since 1997) was recognised in Europe when we were made the Prize Winner for best organisation in "Business Process Management". Previously, in 2006, the EFQM Foundation recognised us as a Finalist in the European Excellence Awards, EEA 06. In 2004 and 2002 the Basque Government, through Euskalit (Basque Foundation for Excellence), awarded us the "Q de Oro" and the "Q de Plata" respectively (Gold and Silver Awards for Quality), in recognition of our management based on the EFQM model.

However, our commitment to quality goes beyond this. We have a long list of ACCREDITATIONS AND CERTIFICATIONS that guarantee the quality of our work, as well as our commitment to the environment. GAIKER is, in fact, the only Technological Centre in the State which has the entire ISO 17025 accreditation, the ISO 9001:2000 and ISO 14001:2004 certifications, and the Good Laboratory Practices (GLPs) Certificate.
